Y’all know how fun it is to celebrate holidays surrounded by loved ones and good ol food. It’s without a doubt here in Texas, we love any excuse to grub and celebrate! In honor of St. Paddy’s Day (March 17th), we rounded up  some easy recipes the whole family will love! Time to bring out all things green and a pinch of flavor for good luck. Let’s get straight to the cookin’.

Luck O’ The Irish Breakfast of Champions

For a  charming breakfast and a power boost that is adult and kiddo approved, skip the traditional green eggs and ham for a fluffy stack of these lucky pancakes.  . Start off the day with a bit of luck. Go crazy with fun toppings such as chocolate chips, green whipped cream, marshmallows, or the cute rainbows from a Lucky Charms cereal.

St. Patrick’s comes once a year, why not go the extra mile and who knows, maybe y’all will find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!

A Four-Leek Clover Kinda Lunch

Keep it light yet delish for a midday meal. We may not be Irish but we sure love some potatoes for lunch and it wouldn’t be a proper St. Patrick’s Day without some sort of potatoes, either. This Irish Leek & Potato Soup is deliciously filling (and green) — perfect for the occasion! Soup is good for the soul and even better when you pair this meal with a side of Texas toast and Irish butter. Mm-mm!

A Simple Irish Dinner Combo

Y’all seriously cannot  go wrong with a good ol’ traditional Irish meal like  Corned Beef & Cabbage. By the time dinner rolls around, we totally get that keeping things mess-free and simple are the way to go! Grab the crock pot and follow this delicious recipe for a different kinda’ meal for once. Let’s give the brisket a break just for once, and enjoy this common Irish-American delight with friends and family.

Shimmy Shimmy Dessert

Let’s shake it up with this St. Patrick’s-inspired Shamrock Shake! Settle that sweet tooth with a fun shamrock shake. Serve in a cute mason jar and add extra sprinkles! Who’s got time for baking when you could gather everyone up to help decorate their shake and shimmy in the kitchen together. This lil’ dessert could easily turn into a fun activity — don’t forget extra whipped cream on top.
