It seems lately as if Mason Jars have taken over everything! Well, we can’t blame them. Here at Lone Star Living, we’re absolutley obsessed when it comes to mason jars!
Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, we’ve decided to sweeten up our mason jars and give them a new look. So, grab the kids and let’s get started on this fun DIY project!
MATERIALS
- Mason Jars
- Paint Brush
- Paint (Colors of your choice)
- Lone Star Living Bouquet
- Additional Decor (optional)
STEP 1:
Wash and pat dry your mason jars. Begin to paint your jars with the color of your choice. We decided to give our three jars an “ombré” effect and chose hot pink, neutral pink and light pink.
STEP 2:
Once you’ve painted your first coat, let the jars dry completely. We noticed our mason jars needed a second coat. If your feel your jars may need a second coat, wait till the first coat has dried completely. Then, feel free to add on your second coat of paint.
STEP 3:
Once your mason jars have dried completely, get creative and add some decor! Pour some water and add your Lone Star Living limited edition Valentine’s flowers!
