Ladies of Lone Star is our blog series where we get up close and personal with our favorite team members at Lone Star Living! LSL has some pretty impressive ladies in its ranks: from floral gurus to veterans, and everything in between. In short, our employees are the foundation of our wonderful workplace culture and we are proud to have them as part of our Lone Star Living team.

Therefore, if there’s one unsung hero here at Lone Star Living, it’s Loreyna Molina.

Since the start of LSL, Loreyna has worked tirelessly as our product development manager, handling our brand direction. Additionally, Loreyna is directly involved in making our brand come to life.

We wanted you to get to know this very special Lady of Lone Star, so we asked her some fun questions:

What do you love about Lone Star Living?

“Texans are the best. There is no other state in the U.S. that has as much love and patriotism for its people. I especially love the strength and the charming nature of Texas women. In fact, they are like flowers–beautiful but resilient. In short, don’t mess with a Texas woman! I love that I work with a flower bouquet that encompasses that it celebrates Texas women and therefore helps remind them be good to themselves.”

Tell us three fun facts about yourself:

1. I’m a veteran. I was a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force.

2. I love to draw flowers and have been drawing flowers since I could remember. I even drew my own tattoo—a lotus flower.

3. Research is my passion. I love to dig into different subjects and learn about them, even when it comes to useless facts. You would be surprised at how many useless facts come in handy!

If you were a flower, which one would you be and why?

“I would be a carnation because there are many layers to me.”

Tell us a funny flower joke.

“Question: What day of the week do flowers look forward to?

Answer: Sunday”

Do you have any interesting flower tips?

“One thing I have learned with flowers is that they are alive even after being cut. During photo shoots, I have talked to them and even massaged them to position them how I want them, and they will actually do it! I have had closed flowers bloom on the spot! It’s very interesting. In fact, they even get tired after photo shoots. After each photo shoot, I sometimes place them on my desk with fresh water and the very next day they stand right up!”

We are grateful to have Loreyna Molina here at Lone Star Living, and we thank her for all that she does!
