If you are anything like us, you know that once August hits, we go into FULL Fall mode. As busy women, we know that it NEVER really “stops” but in September, emotionally, we start “wrappin’ it up”. That need to check off all our resolutions at the start of the year slowly turns into finding closure. October, November, and December may as well be one long month, right?

Lone Star Living is going to call September, Cozy Girl Fall!  We know this Texas weather has not yet received the memo about our silent need for a “cool down” but, we are mentally preparing to cozy up and ride the wave of the final months of the year. We’re excited to get cuddled up!

We’re prepping for the upcoming months of our favorite fall things while keeping in mind that the best time of the year ALSO comes with great responsibilities: Dinners, costumes, gift giving, parades, trips, family, and the list goes on. So, let’s cozy up and breathe in together! You got this!

As we set the tone to invite fall into our space, its magic tends to follow. Here are some ways to start bringing on those “Cozy Girl Fall” vibes.

  1. giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation.

Comfort. Start making room! Organize your busy spaces. Deep clean your high-traffic rooms. Switch out bedding. Put away summer clothes. Make a “donation” pile.

Warmth. Purchase some fluffy socks. Bust out your favorite mug. Set out some cozy blankets in your favorite spots. Fall-scented candles. Add a Darling Tote to your nightstand. Stock up on your favorite tea or hot cocoa.

Relaxation. Hang up your calendar. Take stock of your daily, weekly, and monthly commitments. Refresh your workspace. Work on your Fall Spotify playlist. Use your oil diffuser. Place flowers in the places you sit most.

Here are the flowers to look forward to in your September “Cozy Girl” bouquet

  • Eucalyptus
  • Pompons
  • Leucadendron
  • Charmelia

We hope this helps get the wheels spinning as you dream and prepare for the season ahead in your own home and life. Here’s to the best fall yet! Just Remember…YOU GOT THIS!
